About Penny + Bear
It started as a simple family project — a way to make gratitude visible in our home.
We built a small wooden frame to collect notes of thanks, a ritual that helped our kids see the good in everyday life.
But soon, it became something more.
That little frame turned into a motivation jar for our son. Someone else used theirs as a swear jar. Another family called it their “love bank.” We realized we hadn’t just made a gratitude box — we’d created a frame that could grow and change with people’s stories.
Today, every Penny + Bear frame is handcrafted by Mark in our home workshop in Knoxville, Tennessee and each print is designed by Taylor to inspire meaning and prompt habit. Together, we build pieces that remind families — including ours — to stay connected to what matters most.
These frames are part display, part practice: a place to showcase beauty on the outside and tuck away the small, quiet moments inside. Gratitude, milestones, goals, jokes, memories — whatever helps you hold the good.
Our mission is simple: to make everyday intention visible.
One frame, one story, one ritual at a time.
